• I have questions about registration. Who do I ask?

  You should contact the Activities & Skills Centre. The relevant office is located to the right of the student union front desk; their phone number is 01642 384461 and their hours are 10am-4:00pm Monday to Friday. You may wish to see the ASC web site to check that this information is up-to-date.

• How can I register?

  You can register if you are an enrolled student, a member of staff or you have graduated from the university in the past.

• Where can register?

  You must register at the Activities & Skills Centre desk to the right of the student union front desk in person.

• How much will it cost?

  Registration to this club is the same as any other club at Teesside University it will cost £10 (check current costs with the ASC) this is a one time payment for the year. This will be used to  cover insurance and a small contribution to the club funds to allow us to buy equipment. This nominal fee also shows that you are indeed interested in learning Tai Chi.

• What if its not for me?

  If you are unsure if it's for you, you are permitted to come along to one lesson (under the universities insurance) without paying for registration. After which if you are interested in coming back you must aquire membership.

• How much will each class cost?

  Nothing, they are free.

• What do I get for my membership?

  You will recieve a membership card that you will have to show the chairman when you attend either your fist or second class. If you don't produce the membership card at your second attendence you will have to sit out but will be permitted to watch the class. You will also be able to attend lessons for free.
