These are part-time, unpaid positions, filled by current students alongside their course. Working with the Sabbatical Officers, they make up the Executive Committee, which acts on the decisions made by students. There is no restriction on the number of times you may be a Part-Time Executive Officer, but the posts last for 1 year at a time. Elections take place in March and these posts commence in the final term of each academic year.

There are 2 committees elected at Union Senate (although other groups may be formed as and when required), which have specific remits. These are currently; Elections Committee, and Finance Committee. Elections Committee organises and promotes any elections within the Students’ Union. The Finance Committee scrutinises the Students’ Union finances and proposes the annual budget, with advice from Students’ Union permanent staff.
